Brand Spotlight: Belly Bandit

We carry the Belly Bandit Belly Boost in our Nurtured 9 Pregnancy Shop and thought we’d dive deeper into the Belly Bandit brand for all you mamas out there looking for more support products. (Not sponsored…just our own opinions and research!).

Belly Bandit is the pioneer brand in creating essential garments that comfort Mom from maternity wear through postpartum care. If you’re like us, you’ve probably already stumbled upon them while Googling “how to get my waistline back after baby” (so sue us)!

Yes, Belly Bandit pretty much invented the pregnancy belly support band and then tackled the world of postpartum shape-wear. But, if you take a closer look, they are so much more than that, offering everything from compression socks to nursing tees to muffin-top eliminating leggings. Their arsenal of tools can help alleviate a lot of your pregnancy aches and pains, address nursing challenges, and even snap you back into shipshape after baby. Better yet, being a veteran in the world of Mama care means they are constantly evolving and inventing new pieces of their collection, including lots of hybrid items that double and triple duty!

See below for some of our favorite Belly Bandit products that have helped carry us through pregnancy and beyond.

Maternity:

Belly Boost: As you enter your second trimester, you’ll find that your belly starts to weigh on you a little, and maybe your tank tops sneak up a tiny bit in the front. Time to enlist the assistance of the Belly Boost; a silky soft layer that provides just enough support and coverage without bulking you up. We love this one so much that it is a staple in our Second Trimester Bundles!

Compression Socks: To quell the swell of third trimester ankles and feet, pop on these compression socks that pack a pressure punch that improves blood flow and circulation, prevents varicose veins…and look cute to boot.

PostPartum/Nursing:

Perfect Nursing Tee: Like wearing your husband’s favorite t-shirt—if that t-shirt had a perfectly disguised slit for you to discreetly nurse as needed.

Mother Tucker Corset: Whether you’re hoping to cinch that waist back into shape, or get some relief from the back pain that the constant position of leaning over a newborn brings, this corset is phenomenal. It is super structured, literally standing you upright when even the most potent cup of coffee won’t do. Yet, it’s still comfortable enough to wear under regular clothes and doesn’t show up under most garments.

Hybrids to Take you Throughout:

B.D.A. Leggings: Aptly named the B.D.A., Before During & After, Leggings, this pair is made to wear throughout your entire pregnancy and recovery. They are breathable and light, while giving your belly support during pregnancy. After baby, the top can roll down or can be pulled up to offer coverage for your belly when nursing.

Mother Tucker Nursing Tank: Looking for something a little less intense than a corset, but still will smooth your waistline? How about if it doubles with easy access for nursing? The Mother Tucker Nursing tank ticks all of these boxes and is super comfy. It’s a piece we certainly have in our arsenal of postpartum tricks.

Anti Panti: Soft, stretchy, and leak resistant, these panties are a nice under-staple for the third trimester sneeze-to-pee-mishaps. Pack some in your hospital bag as well; they will house your massive panty liners in a secure and comfortable manner.
