Product Spotlight: The Maternity/Nursing Wrap Blanket

We’re sharing more details about one of our most coveted products in the Nurtured 9 Pregnancy Shop. It’s the Maternity Towel!
We decided that the name Turkish Towel just isn't doing this amazing staple justice! Like many, we didn't know what a Turkish Towel was until we were gifted one from a friend. The word towel made us think beach towel or bath towel, which sure, it works as that! But it's also SO. MUCH. MORE. And so, we present to you the multiple uses of the Turkish Towel specific to pregnancy and motherhood, or as we have decided to call it The Maternity/Nursing Wrap Blanket (since that ALMOST does justice to its multi-function).
1) An easy-to-tote towel/blanket: this is the "duh" usage. It's super chic in your bathroom and larger than your average bath towel, but also rolls up nice and small (vs. a clunky beach towel) to tuck into your bag for the beach, and once your little one arrives, for picnics in the park, story times at the library, tummy time...the possibilities of where to lay this blanket out are endless!
2) A Wrap/Cover-up/Dress: the size and weight of this blanket make it easy to go from ground to bag to body with ease. It is perfect to fashion into a wrap or even tied properly as a casual dress (see pic!), with plenty of room for your growing bump!
3) A Scarf/Nursing Cover: when you're on the go, it can be easy to forget every last thing you need for baby. With your blanket tucked in your bag, or worn as a lightweight and fashionable scarf (we love how it elevates a pair of distressed jeans, a plain tee and our favorite sneakers), you can easily tie two ends over your shoulder and nurse baby on the fly. We love this feature for Moms who travel a lot! Imagine: scarf, nursing cover, beach towel, and wrap all in one piece that you don't even have to pack because you can wear it!
4) A Yoga Mat: when you're off to your prenatal yoga class, why not offer some extra softness and traction between your precious parts and the yoga mat.
